모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며
그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기와 화목하게 하시고
 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분을 주셨으니
곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며
그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고
화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라 (고린도후서 5장 18-19절)
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ,
not counting men's sins against them.

세상의 깊은 상처를 치료하는 것은
우리 자신이나 우리의 행동으로 시작하는 것이 아니라
하나님과 하나님의 선물인 새로운 창조로 시작한다.

Reconciliation is at the heart of God and central to the gospel.
It’s something unachievable by man
and impossible through any human effort.
It is completely provided for and empowered by God.
